Everyone interested in the history of Texas must visit this place. The reason - Round Rock is got its name still exists here in middle of the shallow Brushy Creek river. Good place to spend time with family on a weekend afternoon. Do carry some swim suits in summer for a nice hangout. As of Mar2023, the trail is being closed for repair and can be walked until 0.9 miles only. #HappyTrails

A beautiful spot to visit. Walking trails adorned with interesting statues with details regarding the art. A beautiful little waterfall too and a bridge connecting to the otherside of the trail. Great for family walks and even a picnic!

If you’re in Round Rock, you’ve got to visit The Round Rock itself! It’s a cool historic landmark with a lot of local significance—the city is actually named after this big, round rock sitting in Brushy Creek. It’s easy to miss if you’re just driving by, but once you spot it, it’s a fun photo op and a neat piece of Texas history. The area around it is peaceful, with walking trails and scenic views of the creek. Great spot for a quick stop, a walk, or just to say you’ve seen the rock that started it all!

Beautiful area and the history is cool as hell. Definitely need to visit this if you are in the area. Thinking about the struggles of the settlers coming to this new land. Very deep.

The historical rock isnt round. Its in the middle of the water. The park was large and silent. Only few are taking photos and jogging as well. It was a good visit, so silent, calm and peaceful We also had a chance to do a picnic here with the family. Super nice indeed

First time visiting Round Rock City. Grabbed some Round Rock Donuts, then went to see THE Round Rock. There's a trail with a park and plenty of nature. I got to see the rock that gave the town it's name along with wagon trails on the rivers edge. Very beautiful and clean trail.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐️6 stars lol Absolutely incredible experience at The Round Rock. While other reviewers complain that “the rock doesn’t do enough,” I personally found its commitment to doing absolutely nothing inspiring. This rock has remained dedicated to its craft for generations. No gimmicks. No drama. Just pure rock energy. I showed up expecting a rock… and by God, it delivered. The rock itself was incredible: • Rocked flawlessly • Maintained peak rock performance • May not technically be round, but confidently identifies as round • Did not crumble under pressure • Historically committed to being a rock Honestly one of the top 3 rocks I’ve ever seen. Would absolutely visit again.

Really cool historic place. There is a plaque explaining the significance of the round rock. You can fish there too. The kids can get their feet wet if they want. Plenty of free parking and a great walking trail with historic markers.
