Always clean, friendly staff
The staff was very nice. The customer service was excellent, had me reminiscing when I worked in a library as a teenage. They Helped me get a library card. I will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was very relaxing.
Great, helpful, patient staff. Very Clean.
A very nice library, with courteous staff, BUT: It's just VERY NOISY when people don't control their children and take phone calls without moderating their voice. No one asked any of the offenders to quiet down today. Children sit and roam around the adult computer section, instead of their section. The children's section is in the back corner where NO ONE truly monitors the area, if the security guard isn't on duty yet. While I was there, they had to ask (what looked like a homeless young) man to move out of that area. Oddly enough, the children's section was the only quiet area in the library today. So BRING YOUR EARPHONES if you want to risk it. Or if the security guard is at work. Otherwise, MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS if you need quiet to concentrate. When I was young you were expected to work quietly or the librarian would check you. If the noise persisted, you would be removed from the library. 😫 OH HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED! THEY LOST 2 ⭐️s ONLY because of the noise, otherwise it would be my favorite library in Columbia.
Very well set up library. Has great community resources.
Nice clean atmospher. There's activities to do and as well as for kids. Nice and relaxing
Great library, I come here all the time. Cheryl was so helpful I just had to leave a 5 star review!
They do have some good people that work there and that are willing to help you. I am so glad that the security is gone. The woman from New York with the gold tooth, it seems as though she tried to cause trouble between me and the staff I go to the library because I have very important things to handle and I'm not that computer savvy. Besides My own personal matters that I'm dealing with. It's too much chatterbox that goes on there. It should be kept at a professional level. It should not be a dangerous place to go to and you know, security should be out. Doing parameter checks and walking around Premises, instead of you know, chatterbox, in it, gossiping about people, I don't need aggravation when I stay longer to maybe do an art class or something. I need all the help I can get and so people who are good. You know who you are and for the people who are not so good act like they're irritated to help you, you know who you are. I just want a nice, safe, clean place to go to is little black bugs in the library. And so the days that they are closed, why don't they invest in getting that place?\n Constantly exterminated, I don't want to go in there and carry bugs back home with me that's a no no I enjoy some of the other libraries better, but this one is closer to me. So when I do have to go there, I don't expect to be in a stressed out environment to do what I need to do.\n Like, I said, I'm not there for people in their feelings. And so if they have something against some of the customers they come in there, then they need to Keep it to themselves and not be trying to Cos 1 staff member to go against the patrons of that library, it's ridiculous, so get out your feelings and do your job and treat people in a professional manner. Thank you very much.! You never ship trust a person that smiles all the time.cause they'll be the ones that throw daggers in your back
Good for what a library is needed for
