This is my first time venturing to this library, we showed up for story time which was perfect with the help of Dulce filling in and reading to the kids. The kids center has many interactive and learning activities, puzzles, books and play centers. I definitely plan on being more active during their story times and other events that they host.
We absolutely love the Elgin Public Library! They have a great selection of books and the kids area is top notch. They have an entire play area, a ton of themed arts and crafts, and a large selection of kids and YA book. I enjoy their sci fi section and I’m pretty sure I’ve read all of their Star Wars novels.
I’m from Manor so I paid $15 for my library card for a year! They have monthly events so don’t forget to take their newsletter. Organized and clean. Staff are friendly. Books usually renew and they send you a text if it isn’t waitlisted. Very convenient.
Wonderful kids section. Love the large amount of educational toys. Visited from out of town. Love Elgin! Staff was respectful.
